We feel very fortunate that the Karmapa/Lama House project has come to fruition and that the main construction was completed at the end of 2010. After about two years of construction, we were happy to present the house to the Karmapa for the first time. During his visit in 2009 he accepted and blessed the house. It has three rooms (one living room, a private room for Karmapa and a third for his parents, Mipham Rinpoche and Ma-Yum), as well as a kitchen, bathroom and a balcony. In August 2012 the finished house was offered to the Karmapa. We feel that through this project we had the possibility to strengthen our link with the Karmapa and the lineage and we hope that it will be of great benefit in the future. On this occasion we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all our many friends and helpers who supported this project, either through their financial generosity or by their work, without them it would have been impossible.
