During this Winter, Lama Walli guided residents during a 2-month retreat period. She continued with her explanations on Lojong 7-point mind training following the commentary of the current Shamar Rinpoche. This was a very fortunate occasion for us to receive in-depth instructions on Absolute Bodhicitta and the practice of Insight (Lhaktong).
In February we practiced the traditional 10-days of Middle-Length Mahakala and Sang rituals preceeding Losar, the Tibetan New Year. On Losar day itself soon after our last practice together we went to Dhagpo Kagyu Ling in order to see the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni, which are hosted there at the moment. We were moved by the touching atmosphere as we recited many wishing prayers together, concluding our retreat period together as a group, which began in July.
